Clare Brewer
Hey my name is Clare. I am 25 years old and I come from Liverpool. I teach two classes in Kindergarten 1. It has been such a rewarding experience teaching the children from their very first day at school when they were shy, nervous and spoke not a word of English till now. They are little chatterboxes! Everyday is fun and different. Thailand is such a beautiful and easy going place to live. I would recommend anyone looking to teach abroad to come here.

Peter Saunders
Hey there! My name's Pete and I've been a teacher in the Primary department for nearly a year. Like Laura B, I'm from Sandhurst in the UK. I have a degree in both Psychology and Sociology and intend to become a child therapist in the future. I will be staying for at least another 6 months as a teacher, but I will also be helping develop the MEP with Laura B. I'm the English and Science teacher for Pratom 2 and 3 who I love to bits. They are fun, cheeky and intelligent - sometimes I think my classes are teaching me!
Laura B and I only intended to stay for 3 months originally but there's a good chance we'll be staying forever! Loving the kids here is VERY contagious!
Nick Brown
Hello! My name is Nick and I am from Boston, MA, USA. I've been a primary teacher in the MEP since November and I am loving it. In the MEP I teach Pratom 2 and 3 Math and Health. I have a BS in Business Administration and Economics from Saint Michael's College in Vermont. The kids are amazingly energetic and continually surprise me with how quickly they pick up new topics. Teaching P2 and P3 has been an incredible experience so far and has certainly given me a new found respect for my teachers I had when I was little!
Laura Brownlie
Hi, my name is Laura! I'm 22 years old and I'm from Sandhurst, England. I have a degree in Sociology and plan to do a PGCE when I return to the UK. I have been living in Thailand and teaching at Anuban Singuri School for a year now and intend to stay for at least another 6 months. I teach English or Science every morning and then in the afternoons, I teach a range of Health, Computer and Homeroom classes. I absolutely love it! The kids are so much fun and it is really rewarding seeing the progress they have made. Living in Singburi is equally amazing. The local people and so friendly and the whole Thai culture is fantastic. I feel very lucky to have had this experience and would strongly encourage anyone who is interested in teaching abroad or living in Thailand to go for it!
Andie Mansfield
Hello my name is Andie and I am from Sydney, Australia! I have just started teaching in the MEP program and plan to stay in Thailand for at least 6 months. I have a degree in both Social Work and Teaching, and back home in Australia I have taught English in two different high schools, over the past four years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Anuban Singburi School so far - the students are adorable and the teachers have made me feel very welcome! I am very much looking forward to living in Singburi as it seems like an amazing place... I'd love to be able to speak fluent Thai and to also cook Thai food, so I am hoping to learn both of these things while I'm living here... During my time at Anuban Singburi School I will be teaching both the students and Thai teachers, as well as helping with the planning of the programs for next semester.
Laura Thompson
Hi, my name is Laura Thompson, I am 23 years old and am from Liverpool, England. I have been teaching K1 kindergarden at Anuban Singburi for two months now, and I love it. Kindergarden is a lot of fun, we sing and dance, play games and do creative activities to link in with whatever subject it is we are teaching that week. It takes alot of energy to keep up with the kids, but they are great and a joy to teach. I hope to stay in Thailand teaching for a long time!
Kara Lyons
Hey, my name is Kara, I am 22 years old and I from Oxford, England. I have been teaching in Kindergarten for almost a year and it's one of the most rewarding jobs I have had. I second what Bobby said in that the student's intelligence is beyond their years. Their respect and eagerness to learn is admirable. It's also a lot of fun! Thailand is a beautiful country enriched with culture, it truly deserves it's name; the 'land of smiles'. I would recommend teaching abroad to any one who is seeking a different perspective on life and education. It's going to be very hard to leave but I feel very lucky to have been handed such an opportunity.
Kolbrun Sigfusdottir

A need for an adventure led me on the path to Thailand and I have no regrets. The kids are adorable and the work is fun - all this in a beautiful country! I couldn't ask for more.

Molly Andersen
Hello! My name is Molly and I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. I have a degree in Anthropology and International Studies and have been a teacher in the MEP since July 2012. I am currently teaching Math, English and Science to Pratom 1, and Computers to Pratom 2/1 and Pratom 2/2. I really enjoy watching the students learn and use their English abilities to the fullest.
